David Mapes services as the Senior Vice President of Support Operations at Numotion.  In this role, he is responsible for all Supply Chain operations; including supplier management & diversity, purchasing, and inventory management.  In addition, he oversees Commercial Payer Contracting, Environmental Health & Safety programs, fleet management & facilities support. 

Before joining Numotion in 2018, David’s professional career spanned over 24 years in the military & corporate leadership roles.  He served as a Logistics Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and separated as a Captain in 2000.  He spent 18 years at GE Healthcare in various leadership roles in the areas of logistics, six sigma, plant management, field service, and commercial leadership with national healthcare providers.  

David has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership & Supervision from Purdue University and a MBA from Marquette University.

David and his wife, Jill, live in Franklin, TN and have three children in college & high school. In his free time, David is an avid cyclist, leads a local Boy Scout Troop, and enjoys camping and watching Purdue football & basketball.
